The purpose of the Rutgers Inclusion Campaign is to promote the inclusion of all students in the fabric of the Rutgers New Brunswick community. The committee shall look to promote  a climate and culture that encourages social interactions that support a profound appreciation and celebration of our differences. By designing a learning environment that serves as a melting pot of ideas and cultures, we aim to enhance cross-cultural understanding, break down stereotypes, improve self-awareness, and prepare our students to be stronger, richer, and more dynamic citizens.

Our Goals

  1. Increase awareness on campus about prejudice, stereotyping, power, privilege, oppression and social identities (race, gender, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, spirituality/religion, ability, etc.) through marketing and educational campaigns.
  2. Create spaces and foster intergroup dialogue on critical and challenging topics that inspire genuine understanding, goodwill and collaboration.
  3. Develop and promote programs, trainings, workshops, lectures, and events that engage the entire campus community on issues of inclusion.
