Identity and Leadership Program

About the I-LEAD Program

The Identity and Leadership (I-LEAD) program is designed to provide faculty with opportunities to enhance their leadership, increase effectiveness at navigating identity-related challenges on their leadership journey, and build career-enhancing and supportive networks.

All full-time faculty in a positional leadership role are encouraged to apply.

What is a positional leadership role?

Positional leaders have a formally designated responsibility within their academic unit, such as oversight of program development, student recruitment, hiring, or retention. Examples of positional leadership roles are:

  • Department Chair
  • Undergraduate/Graduate Program Director
  • Assistant/Associate Dean
  • and more
